The Mainstream poetry contest
The deadline for the student newspaper’s poetry contest is fast approaching. The deadline for entries has been extended to April 26, 2013. The contest is open to all students, and entries must be emailed to uccmainstream@yahoo.com. To be eligible for winning, poetry contest entries must contain content appropriate for a general audience and must be no more than 15 lines. Winning entries may be published on the student newspaper website. If space permits, entries may also be published in the student newspaper print edition.
