NeighborWorks offers DreamSavers educational savings fund assistance
The DreamSavers program allows students to start an educational savings fund in which NeighborWorks matches deposits 3-1. That’s a 300 percnet increase on savings as DreamSavers gives away the matching funds. For example, if a person deposited $25, NeighborWorks would add three times that, $75, so the deposit would actually be $100.
Households must meet income requirements to qualify, and there are some restrictions on the use of funds at the time of withdrawal. Students must use the money for educational expenses only.
